Trent served in many capacities as an attorney. He worked for the 7th Circuit Solicitor's Office. He started as a Assistant Solicitor and was promoted to Deputy Solicitor under Holman Gossett. Trent has been in private practice for over 20 years and limits his practice to criminal defense.
Trent enlisted in the United States Army Reserve as a infantryman. He later became a drill sergeant.
Dean began his career in the criminal justice field as a state probation officer. He went on to serve on the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Task Force and the Organized Crime and Drug Enforcement Task Force in Greenville, SC. Dean finished up his federal career as a Sentencing Guidelines Specialist with the United States Probation Office preparing Presentence Reports for the federal courts in the district of South Carolina. Dean has developed many relationships in state and federal law enforcement and with the courts over the past 30 plus years. While working for the federal government, Dean attended law school Charlotte, NC.
Dean served in the United States Army and the South Carolina Army National Guard as an infantryman. He served in numerous assignments such as an infantry platoon leader, scout platoon leader, and infantry company commander. Dean's last assignment was as Team Commander of a 12 man combat advisory team in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He was awarded the Combat Infantryman Badge, Bronze Star Medal for Valor, and Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Service. Dean retired as a Major in 2010.
Donna Foxx is the Legal Assistant for Dean and Trent. Prior to working at Pruett and Cook, she worked for the 7th Circuit Solicitor's Office organizing and preparing discovery for dissemination to defense attorneys. Donna also worked for other private law firms for approximately 20 years.
